Solutions Exchange

Our signature platform: the knowledge, project, partnership and opportunity ecosystem through which proven solutions travel across the Global South.

Overview

South Collective is building a digital Global South Solutions Platform to move South–South cooperation from information and networking into practical partnerships, projects and scalable solutions: a trusted digital space where governments, public institutions, universities, research organisations, think tanks, private-sector innovators, technology providers, civil society, practitioners and funders can identify needs, discover proven solutions, find partners and initiate collaboration.

From connection to action

IDENTIFY → DISCOVER → MATCH → PARTNER → PILOT → EVALUATE → SCALE

The objective is not to create another social or networking platform, but a solution-oriented digital ecosystem for the Global South: moving knowledge and proven innovation across borders, and connecting it with the people, institutions, technology and resources required for implementation.

Over time, we aim to build a living digital map of development needs, solutions, expertise and opportunities across the Global South, so that countries and organisations can learn from one another, collaborate more efficiently and accelerate locally relevant solutions.

The Global South Platform

The platform brings needs, solutions, expertise and intelligence into one trusted space, so that a documented challenge can be matched with relevant experience and move towards a partnership.

  • Solutions Library

A curated repository of proven technologies, practices, innovations, policies and development solutions from India and other Global South countries, with information on application, evidence, implementation experience and potential for adaptation.

  • Needs & Challenges

Partner countries and institutions identify and post priority development challenges in public and digital health, climate resilience, agriculture, water, digital public infrastructure, financial inclusion, technology and innovation.

  • Smart Matchmaking

Data-driven, AI-enabled matchmaking connects a specific development need with relevant solutions, experts, institutions, technology providers, implementation partners and potential funding.

  • Development Intelligence

Curated information on emerging technologies, policy developments, research, innovations, funding calls, country priorities, events and opportunities, particularly in health, climate and technology.

The platform is in development and its capabilities will be introduced over time. To share a development need or a proven solution, or to help shape the platform, get in touch through Partner With Us.
